Our school cleaning crew was looking for someone with previous cleaning expertise and a strong work ethic. Because the worksite is in North Sydney, the candidate must live there. The candidate must be skilled and have access to a vehicle to get to and from the job site. In addition, the candidate must adhere to all school rules and regulations, as well as senior commands and directives. Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. are the working hours.
While dealing with the pandemic, a candidate should be careful to observe sanitation and safety precautions, such as wearing a protective mask, gloves, and face shield to avoid pathogens. Members of the candidate’s team should also wear a clean, neat uniform while working. A cleaner’s responsibilities include mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms, among other things.
Stocking and supplying designated facility areas, cooperating with coworkers, adhering to health and safety requirements, cleaning and sanitizing furniture, cleaning and sanitizing floors, cleaning mirrors, and doing other activities as needed.
An applicant must have a high school graduation, be fluent in English, have previous cleaning experience, be able to operate heavy machinery and equipment, be honest and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good communication and organizational skills.
