- $54,755 – $70,315 (Plus Superannuation)

- Usual Work Location: Horsham(Flexibility may be available)
This position provides technical support in the field , laboratory and glasshouse with activities in the field crops pathology research program at Horsham. Tasks include the preparation of field and glasshouse experiments, field sampling of soil and plans and data recording
To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge or the ability to learn the operation of farm machinery. if you have good time management and organisation skills and the ability to maintain accurate electronic records and follow standard operating procedure while working in a safe manner then this could be the role for you .
The position of Technical Assistant forms a part of the Agriculture Victoria Research Branch within the Agriculture Victoria Group.
The Agriculture Victoria Research Branch represents DJPR’s agricultural research and development function. The Agriculture Research Branch provides a discipline-based science and technology delivery function in the following areas
- Genomics and Cellular Sciences
- Microbial Sciences, Pests and Diseases
- Plant Sciences
- Plant Production Sciences
- Animal Production Sciences
- Agriculture Resources Sciences
