Disability Support Worker- Horsham Casual ( 9am to 3 pm)
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate disability support worker to work within a new model of individualised in-home day support program
Your day could include:
- Community inclusion activities, events, and day trips
- Facilitating tasks with a focus on multisensory activities and environments
- Providing feedback on each individual’s likes and dislikes to shape future schedules
- Preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene and medication management
- Transport support
To be a great fit for this role you will need:
- A Strong passion for supporting people with a disability to live their best lives
- A Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent or working towards a qualification
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A valid Police Check
